Interactive ladder diagram simulation software helps students master control systems
LIBBY, MT (June 22, 2009) – CMH Software, a leader in electrical design and training software, today announced an agreement with McGraw-Hill Higher Education to bundle a fully functional version of the Constructor software with the activities manual for the textbook "Electric Motors and Control Systems" by Frank Petruzella. Students purchasing the bundles receive a license to the special edition of the Constructor software used by engineers, electricians, corporations, schools and training centers worldwide.
Through the agreement, CMH Software, McGraw-Hill and Frank Petruzella will work together to develop a special edition of the Constructor tailored to the needs of higher education students and instructors.
The partnership between CMH Software and McGraw-Hill Higher Education, a leader in the educational publishing marketplace, represents a strong initiative by CMH Software to further expand the presence of the Constructor in the higher education marketplace both as a learning tool for students and as a tool adopted in electrical and engineering departments at colleges and universities.
"Partnering with McGraw-Hill lets CMH Software leverage a huge, experienced and highly successful sales force that we believe will dramatically increase sales of the Constructor to students and instructors," said Robert Hosea, president of CMH Software. "McGraw-Hill has name brand recognition and marketing excellence, strong experience in new media, and expertise in targeting institutions looking to adopt software tools. This expertise, combined with CMH Software's industry-leading products, delivers a strategy that will put the Constructor into the hands of tomorrow's engineers, electricians and technical professionals."
The Constructor’s ability to simulate complex electrical control circuits will help students understand the concepts taught in McGraw-Hill’s "Electric Motors and Control Systems" by Frank Petruzella.
