All CMH Software Products and Spyware
Problem: After running a spyware removal program one of CMH Software's programs won't run and there is a message like this:
"The following error has occurred while trying to start "one of our programs":
Component `DWSBC36.OCX` or one of its dependencies not correctly registered:
a file is missing or invalid."
We use controls (files with an ocx and dll extention) from a company called Desaware. These controls are installed when you install our software. They are used for various tasks in our software such as window sizing, etc. They are not used for anything related to spyware. Some spyware removal software may remove these items because some companies have used these controls to build applications that are spyware.
Solution: To get your program running again you will need to re-install the software. If you run spyware removal software again make sure it does not remove these Desaware files: dwsbc36.ocx dwshk32.ocx, dwshk36.ocx, dwspy32.dll or dwspy36.dll
